pizza

coffee can bring old friends together, but pizza (especially if its from yellow cab - square cut new york’s finest P710 hehehe) can form new friendships and relationships. my stay at Assuncion De Manila (ADM - thats my dormitory when i was reviewing for the local board)has been one of the best! i met new friends while sharing slices of pizza from either shakey’s or yellow cab (talaga dapat may emphasis on where the pizza was delivered from) with people i have just met. they were very nice to me and i think i was also nice to them, the reciprocity of friendship from one another was overwhelming, it was very easy to get along with those kids, i enjoyed their company so much that i didn’t want to go back to santiago. hehehe.
when i arrived at ADM, i missed my bed so much that i wasnt able to sleep for a few days, i have a queen sized bed back at home and my bed at ADM was puny compared to it but now ive grown fonder of that little bed, even though there’s someone sleeping on top of it (its a double decker kasi) who keeps on waking me up every time he moves or turns, i also do the same to kuya arnold hahaha. and even though there was a menace inside room 1 - FERDIE the ass- everything was quite ok. aside from my bed, i also missed my mom’s cooking, my tv, my pets, my own remote, my couch, etc etc. but as i was able to adjust to the environment at ADM, i started to feel more “at home”
what made my stay at ADM special was it was there where i celebrated my 21st birthday! they even surprised me and gave me a small birthday cake at exactly 12:00 am! imagine! i never had that from my friends here in santiago (not that im comparing hehehe)… they were so thoughtful. and off course there were the inuman sessions with the gang! the beer, the mani, the tequila, the lechon, the yosi, the laughter, the spin the bottle, (nath broke a san mig bottle and kuya eric’s “milk glass” hahaha (OH MY GOD!!! HAHAHAH)), and the review after that. the last full show at gateway (ironman) and the picture takings using nath’s camera (OMG!) hahaha.
then there were my friends (try ko isa isahin)
there were the two girls from La Union, May and Monette, now CPA’s, im proud of those two gals, and they were really really nice to me too, i remember the first time i met them at breakfast, they were so social that we became friends at that instant.
and theres ate mhelai, whom i thought at first was suplada, who turned to be a really nice person, sociable and easy to get along with

she always greets me when i return from my review. she was so funny when she got drunk during my birthday celebration at ADM. hahaha. i even took her to their room along with steff and jelly (i think? hahaha.) i was awestruck when she and jelly went out to party, (a day after jelly’s birthday)she was so dazzling - that was a jaw dropping experience for me! hahaha. sweet girl from FEU, kimmy.
add up ate carla, who i thought was also snobbish, again turned out as one of my good friends at ADM, she always sits at the lobbly with her kaplan book and pink and green markers. hehehe.

i found her to be similar to ate mhelai, in some ways, hehehe. again i thought she was snobbish but as usual, they all turned out to be cool and nice persons. the architect from batangas, shes sexy and alluring hihihihihi. too bad i only got along with her during my last few days at ADM. nagtext nga siya sakin while i was typing this entry, si piggy daw nakatingin kay pooh ng matagal………yun yung text. hahahaha
jelly bee,
ay si jelly bee, she treated us at shakey’s during her birthday, parang bata, hahaha, as in complete with parlor games and a banner. it was fun and i appreciate her for her treat! that was the first time i saw a table size pizza! thanks to her i laid my eyes into one! thanks to that party, i met some of the other girls of ADM, hehehe (oh nat, shut up, youre the only one who knows what im talking about. hahaha)
steffy, nursing student of FEU, again i thought she was suplada but again turned to be ok, too bad we only started talking to each other after jelly’s birthday, hehehe

she gave me a gift on my birthday, it was so thoughtful of her, you can call her a hot mom because shes still beautiful and still has that vody hehehe after bearing several kids (ate gems, complement po to hehehe)

i never got to talk to her much but she was also nice, her father died before she took the board exam, there were times that i wish i could have emphatized with her but i never found time.
and sige payag, pati si beth beth (magiinquire ka? hahahaha) taga luto ng breakfast ko yang si beth beth, mageenroll daw siya sa DLSU ng 28 units! oha panalo! hahaha
and off course there were my roommates at room 1
to start off,
joemar, rich kid from Dagupan, we were the first to arrive at room 1 that summer, although mikey was the only regular around. he was a kinda (kinda lang kasi loko din to)serious guy whom i also got along with easily, pano kami lang naman magkasama sa room 1 for a few weeks before mikey arrived so we really didnt have any choice hahaha. all in all, jomar was nice, the problem was, he changed when his friends arrived (no need to mention their names here) before he left, i went to starbucks, sinadya ko yun kasi i really dont like his friends. parang in celebration na din na wala na sila! hahahaha bitter! pano ba naman xe, even if someone was already sleeping, they would continue to talk and talk and talk! insensitive to the needs of the others around, so much like ferdie (whose their friend hahahahaha). pero all in all, i really don’t have anything against joemar, his nice and fun to be around but his friends……….never mind. i don’t have anything against them either, just the noise they make. PEACE!!
then mikey arrived.i had a hunch that he was a member of a fraternity, because i saw a baseball bat on top of his bed hehe.when he arrived i felt some angst from his personality, knowing that i was older than him, i thought i deserved to be called “kuya” or something. but jsut like the others, mikey turned out to be ok. “congressman” as kuya ericson calls him. he was one of the pioneers of the “pizza nights” at ADM. he was opinionated but unlike ferdie whose opinions were pointless and irrational at times (di ako galit kay kuya ferdie (di naman halata) im just using him for comparison. haha) cool guy from MIT, mikey!
then there was androe (oh nath nath! i bet mag memessage ka sakin if ever you saw this post hahahaha OMG!) silent kid from laoag, if you want to know more about this kid, you can ask nath, she’ll give you everything that she knows about androe hahahaha. but to be fair to androe….
sabi ni monette, and i quote “pinagbuksan ko siya ng pinto tapos di manlang nag thank you, dire diretso nalang siya sa room” thats typical of androe, mahiyain daw kasi thats why he doesnt talk much. rubic’s cube master (just like me ehem ehem hahaha) his hair is dyed a shade of red or something (ask nath for the full detail) at kayosihan ko siya sa labas ng ADM.
then another andrew arrived. hesper andrew.
taga makati, sabi ni nath, and again, i quote “simpleng malandi” hahahaha. vain. pero i love his shirts, mapoporma kase. mahilig sa pizza at mahilig mag post in front of the camera.
then the seamen came hahahaha (got it? seamen semen hahaha)

supplier ng yosi sa room 1 hahahaha. he instructed us to just get cigarettes if ever we wanted some. hahahaha. astig! so kung gusto mo makatipid, hingi ka lang sakanya. hahaha.

nye! joke joke joke. nye. hahahaha
sabi ni monette sakanya, and i quote “kung magjojoke ka kasi kuya, sabihan mo muna kami na joke yun para tumawa kami” hahahaha. drinks a lot of milk and addict sa coke zero. kuya diabetes aabutin mo nyan. its not an assurance na “zero” sugar yung iniinom mo. NYE!!
and sige pagbigyan si kuya ferdie
ano bang magandang sabihin sakanya? wag nalang. i might be charged of libel if i talk about him hahahaha. i better not talk. tama na yung hints above about his personality.
all in all, these people made my stay at ADM enjoyable and unforgettable. will i ever see them again? i do hope so. thanks guys!
